Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Vijay Nagar, responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring smooth functioning across departments. This role includes supervising front office activities, monitoring guest check-in and check-out processes, and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.

The Duty

Manager coordinates with housekeeping, food and beverage, security, and maintenance teams to maintain service standards and operational efficiency. They ensure compliance with brand guidelines, safety procedures, and service quality, while supporting staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback.

Manager also assists with revenue and occupancy monitoring, manages escalations, and represents hotel management during assigned shifts.

Qualifications

- Operational management skills, including hotel shift supervision, coordination across departments, and handling escalated guest issues.
- Guest service and communication skills, with a focus on hospitality, conflict resolution, and professional verbal and written communication.
- Team leadership and people management skills, including staff guidance, training support, and performance monitoring.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
- Knowledge of front office procedures, reservation systems, and basic hotel revenue and occupancy indicators.
- Experience in hotel or resort operations, preferably in a supervisory or duty manager capacity.
- Relevant education in hospitality management or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and to stand and move around the property as required.
