Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining reliable AWS-based infrastructure and deployment processes, enabling development teams to deliver applications quickly, securely, and consistently
- The candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD, along with strong troubleshooting and automation skills
- The role will focus on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployment workflows, supporting production environments, and continuously improving system reliability, security, and operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

- Design, automate, and maintain reliable AWS-based infrastructure and deployment processes

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD

- Implement and manage GitOps-based deployment workflows for Kubernetes environments

- Manage, monitor, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and resources

- Support and troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes environments

- Implement effective monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools

- Ensure production systems meet required standards for security, scalability, availability, and reliability

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues and drive timely resolution

- Automate operational activities using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages

- Manage AWS services including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling

- Implement appropriate access controls,



secrets management, and basic cloud security practices

- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency

- Participate in production support and on-call activities, where required

- Continuously identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency

Preferred Background

- 2 to 4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

- Experience working with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD

- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms

- Experience with AWS services including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling

- Experience in software / SaaS / technology environments is preferred

Qualifications

- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and DevOps practices

- Robust scripting/programming skills in Bash,



Python, or any relevant language

- Good understanding of cloud security, secrets management, access control, and basic cybersecurity practices

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

- Good communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support production systems when required

Good to Have

- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools

- Knowledge of Helm for Kubernetes package management

- Experience with AWS CloudFormation

- Familiarity with AWS EKS and managed Kubernetes services

- Familiarity with ELK/EFK Stack for centralized logging

- Knowledge of AWS Secrets Manager or similar secrets management solutions

- Experience with SonarQube, Trivy, or other code/container security scanning tools

- Familiarity with Blue-Green, Canary, and Rolling deployment strategies

- Experience with AWS cost optimization and resource management

- Familiarity with incident management and root-cause analysis
