Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python application lifecycle management, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience in building, deploying, automating, monitoring, and supporting enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure. The role requires a combination of development, automation, platform engineering, and operational support skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete lifecycle of Python-based applications, including development support, dependency management, testing, packaging, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and release processes.
- Design, deploy, and support containerized applications on Kubernetes platforms.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and availability.
- Automate operational tasks using Python and scripting technologies.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, application failures, performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure incidents.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable and scalable application delivery.
- Implement security, compliance, and governance controls across cloud and container platforms.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis,



and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills Mandatory
- 4-8 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python applications and understanding of the complete application lifecycle:
- Development and coding practices
- Dependency and package management
- Unit and integration testing
- Build and deployment processes
- Production troubleshooting and support

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and container orchestration.
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform:

- AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Git-based version control systems.

Preferred Skills
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Docker and containerization technologies.
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Experience with microservices architecture and API deployments.
- Exposure to security and DevSecOps practices.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security concepts.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications are an added advantage.
