As part of our growing engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with product development, manufacturing, and workshop operations to create locally engineered solutions for the crane and lifting industry.

Role Description

We are looking for experienced Design Engineers to work on the end-to-end design and development of truck-mounted cranes, hook loaders, and related hydraulic equipment.

The role involves product design, 3D modelling, structural and stability calculations, hydraulic system design, manufacturing drawings, prototyping, and coordination with production teams.

This is an on-site position requiring close interaction with the engineering, workshop, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in the design and development of cranes, truck-mounted equipment, or earth-moving machinery.
- Highly experienced and retired professionals may also apply

Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Proficiency in Solid Edge, 3D modelling, and preparation of manufacturing drawings.




- Experience in designing and developing truck-mounted cranes and related equipment.
- Knowledge of stability and axle-load calculations for truck-mounted cranes and hook loaders.
- Understanding of EN 12999 standards and other relevant engineering and safety requirements.
- Ability to perform structural stress analysis through hand calculations.
- Knowledge of hydraulic system design, including routing, pump selection, and PTO selection.
- Preparation of ISO-compliant drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and spare-parts catalogues.
- Preparation of load charts, technical documentation, and equipment catalogues.
- Ability to collaborate with manufacturing, production, mechanical, and electrical teams.
- Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and practical understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience in modelling and designing booms, arms, hydraulic cylinders, structural brackets and components, as well as hydraulic piping and hose routing
