A leading multidisciplinary university in India, with a strong healthcare and academic ecosystem, is looking to appoint an accomplished academic and public health leader as Dean – School of Public Health. /n The Dean will provide strategic, academic and institutional leadership to build a leading public health institution focused on high-quality education, impactful research, workforce development and meaningful engagement with healthcare systems, government, industry and communities. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Provide strategic and academic leadership for the School of Public Health and drive its long-term growth.

/n

- Develop and strengthen programmes across Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Policy, Health Management, Health Systems, Environmental Health and Global Health.

/n

- Drive research excellence, high-quality publications, funded projects, policy research and multidisciplinary research programmes.

/n

- Build strategic partnerships with government health departments, healthcare organisations, NGOs, research institutions, industry and international organisations.

/n

- Strengthen field-based learning, community health initiatives and translation of research into policy and practice.

/n

- Lead faculty recruitment, development, performance and succession planning.

/n

- Enhance student outcomes, employability, internships,



field placements and career development.

/n

- Strengthen the School's national and international visibility through thought leadership, research, policy engagement and strategic partnerships.

/n

- Lead academic quality, accreditation, rankings, governance, resource mobilisation and institutional development.

/n /n Candidate Profile /n /n

- PhD / DrPH / MD or equivalent doctoral qualification in Public Health or a closely related discipline from a reputed institution.

/n

- 15+ years of academic, research or public health experience, including significant senior academic/institutional leadership experience.

/n

- Experience as Dean, Head of School/Department, Director, Centre Head or equivalent would be preferred.

/n

- Strong track record in public health education, research, academic administration and institutional development.

/n

- Demonstrated scholarly publications, research collaborations and preferably externally funded research.

/n

- Experience in multidisciplinary programme development, partnerships, quality assurance, accreditation and institutional benchmarking.

/n

- Strong stakeholder engagement with government, healthcare systems, research institutions, NGOs, industry and international organisations.
