Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to lead end-to-end data management across our Retail Media Network platform. The role will be responsible for data ingestion, integration, transformation, data quality, governance, modeling, and analytics enablement.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with SQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure, Looker/LookML, ETL/ELT, data governance, and data quality , along with the ability to work closely with engineering, analytics, marketing, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage end-to-end data management strategy across source systems, cloud platforms, analytics layers, and reporting tools.
- Oversee data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, transformation, integration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Work with Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure , and other enterprise data platforms.
- Ensure data pipelines are scalable, reliable, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Define and implement data quality standards, validation rules, reconciliation processes, and exception handling.
- Establish data governance practices covering data definitions, metadata, lineage, documentation, security, and compliance.
- Oversee data modeling and analytics solutions using BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure, and Looker .
- Guide the development and maintenance of LookML models and semantic layers .
- Partner with data analysts and business teams to define KPIs, metrics, business rules, and reporting requirements.




- Ensure datasets are optimized for dashboards, self-service analytics, campaign reporting, and business intelligence.
- Manage data related to retail media campaigns, marketing performance, promotions, customer engagement, and retail operations .
- Support campaign measurement, audience insights, media performance reporting, and promotional analytics.
- Lead and coordinate data engineers, analysts, and other technical resources involved in data delivery.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, pipeline issues, and reporting inconsistencies.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, pipeline performance, governance, and analytics delivery.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Data Management / Data Engineering / BI / Analytics .
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation .
- Experience with Google BigQuery and/or Snowflake .
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure data services and cloud data architecture .
- Experience with Looker and LookML .
- Knowledge of data modeling and semantic layer development .
- Working knowledge of Python , including Pandas, NumPy, or PySpark.
- Strong understanding of Data Quality, Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and Compliance .
- Experience working with large datasets and business-critical reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
