Role Description The Curriculum Developer role at Educifly is a part-time, remote position focused on designing and refining curriculum materials for international school programmes, including IB, IGCSE, AP, and SAT. Day-to-day responsibilities include mapping learning objectives to board-specific requirements, creating structured lesson plans, and developing student-centered resources such as worksheets, practice tasks, and assessment rubrics.

The Curriculum

Developer collaborates with tutors to ensure materials align with assessment structures, grade boundaries, and evolving syllabus guidelines, and ensures content is explicit,



engaging, and accessible for diverse learners across multiple countries. The role also involves ongoing research into curriculum updates and exam trends, integrating these insights into new and existing materials to maintain high academic standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Curriculum Development skills, including aligning learning outcomes with IB, IGCSE, AP, and SAT requirements.
- Candidates should possess Instructional Design skills, such as creating structured lesson plans, learning activities, and formative assessments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Writing skills for producing clear, concise, and learner-friendly academic content.
- Candidates should possess solid Research skills to stay updated on syllabus changes, assessment criteria, and global education trends.
- Experience teaching or developing materials for IB, IGCSE, AP, or SAT programmes is highly beneficial.
- Relevant academic background in Education or the subject areas taught (e.g., Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Languages) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours across time zones, and meet agreed deadlines.
- Familiarity with digital tools for curriculum authoring (e.g., Google Workspace, learning management systems) is an advantage.
