Role Description The Credit Manager will oversee the assessment, approval, and monitoring of credit for customers to support healthy cash flow and minimize financial risk. This is a full time, on-site role based in Ludhiana, responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and managing collections policies in collaboration with finance and sales teams.

Day-to-day activities include reviewing financial statements and credit reports, analyzing payment histories, preparing credit risk reports, and recommending actions for delinquent accounts.

The Credit

Manager will also develop and update credit policies, ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on credit-related decisions.



The role involves regular communication with customers and internal teams to resolve credit issues and support business growth while maintaining prudent risk management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Management and Credit to evaluate customer profiles and set appropriate credit terms.
- Candidates should possess solid Credit Risk Management and Analytical Skills to assess exposure, identify trends, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of Finance to interpret financial data, support cash flow planning, and align credit decisions with business objectives.
- Relevant experience in a credit or finance role, preferably in banking, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications in credit or risk management are an advantage.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and interact with customers professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple accounts, and make sound, data-driven decisions under time constraints.
