Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred

Qualification:

- Master’s Degree in Social Science, Sociology, Social Anthropology, Rural Development, Social Work, Development Studies or a related discipline.
- Freshers may also be considered if they possess the required educational qualification along with good knowledge of relevant software/tools.

Key Responsibilities The selected professional will be responsible for:

- Managing community and stakeholder engagement for project-affected communities.
- Supporting Social Impact Assessment (SIA), Socio-Economic Survey (SES) and baseline studies.
- Supporting Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R;) activities.
- Assisting in preparation and monitoring of R&R; and Livelihood Restoration Plans.
- Conducting vulnerability assessment and supporting tribal/community development initiatives.
- Facilitating Gram Sabha, Public Hearings and community consultations.
- Coordinating with Project Affected Families (PAFs/PDFs), landowners, local communities and community leaders.
- Liaising with District Administration, Revenue Authorities, Government Departments and other stakeholders.
- Identifying and addressing community grievances, social risks and stakeholder concerns.
- Preparing project reports, consultation records,



monitoring reports and management updates.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with knowledge/experience in

- Land Acquisition & R&R;
- SIA / SES / Social Safeguards
- Community & Stakeholder Management
- Livelihood Restoration & Vulnerability Assessment
- Gram Sabha / Public Hearing
- Government & District Administration Liaison
- Mining / Coal / Industrial / Infrastructure Projects

Knowledge of the RFCTLARR Act, 2013, applicable R&R; policies and experience in dealing with Project Affected Families and displaced communities will be an advantage.

Software Knowledge:

- Knowledge of relevant MS Office, data analysis, survey/data collection, documentation
- GIS or other project-related software/tools will be an added advantage.
