Handle end-to-end CNC turning operations including G-code programming, machine setting, and operating in the Tool Room, ensuring high-precision machining of tool & die components as per engineering drawings.
- Independently perform CNC Turning programming, setting, and operation for tool room jobs.
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings, GD&T; symbols, and technical specifications accurately.
- Perform jaw setting, tool offset setting, workpiece zero setting, and fixture alignments.
- Manufacture precision Tool & Die components, mold parts, and fixtures within tight tolerances.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, and feeds to optimize cycle time and tool life.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, Vernier calipers, height gauges, bore gauges) to ensure zero defect output.
- Maintain machine cleanliness, perform routine TPM checks, and follow secure workshop practices.
