About The Role

HCLTech is seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Solutions Engineer / Architect to join our dynamic team across India. This role is pivotal in designing and engineering cloud solutions that accelerate the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at the enterprise level. As a Solutions Engineer / Architect, you will lead the development of innovative cloud migration, modernization, data engineering, and AI-driven automation solutions tailored to Fortune 2000 clients.

Your expertise will enable organizations to optimize their cloud investments, streamline operations, and leverage cutting-edge technologies such as BigQuery, Looker, Vertex AI, and GenAI to achieve their strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with global sales teams, technical architects, and industry partners to craft compelling go-to-market strategies. You will be responsible for creating solution approaches, differentiators, and benefits that align with customer needs across industries like banking, retail, healthcare, and telecom.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Candidates should have between 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience, with at least 2-3 years specifically working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Demonstrated proficiency in GCP core services such as compute, storage, and networking is essential.

Additionally, expertise in data engineering technologies like BigQuery and Looker, along with a foundational understanding of AI/ML platforms such as Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, is highly desirable. Proven experience collaborating with GSI partners and a high level of industry domain knowledge in sectors such as BFSI, RCPG, telecom, healthcare, or manufacturing will be advantageous. Strong soft skills including executive presence, whiteboarding, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with global sales teams and Google Cloud Architects to respond to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring tailored solutions meet customer requirements.
- Develop ROI models and hyperscale funding strategies to demonstrate TCO benefits and drive cloud adoption.
- Design industry-specific use cases for IT managed services, focusing on cloud modernization and migration strategies.
- Lead technical workshops and create reference architectures for data center migration and modernization initiatives to Google Cloud.




- Design and implement Google Cloud native applications and enterprise-grade data engineering stacks utilizing BigQuery, Looker, and Vertex AI.
- Innovate and develop Gemini Enterprise AI and GenAI solutions aligned with enterprise needs, facilitating automation and operational efficiency.
- Partner with GSI and industry stakeholders to build joint solutions, scale go-to-market efforts, and expand cloud footprint within targeted industries.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry-specific value streams and use cases, applying this knowledge to solution design.
