We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Cloud Architect to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business goals and ensure the effective deployment of cloud-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud Strategy Development

: Define and develop the overall cloud strategy, including cloud architecture, standards, and best practices.

- Solution Design

: Design and architect cloud solutions that meet business requirements and objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

- Implementation and Deployment

: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud environments, including infrastructure as code (IaC).

- Optimization and Cost Management

: Monitor and optimize cloud performance, availability, and costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.

- Security and Compliance

: Implement and maintain cloud security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Collaboration and Leadership

: Work closely with development teams, IT operations, and other stakeholders to ensure successful cloud adoption and integration.

- Innovation and Improvement

: Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends, continuously seeking opportunities to improve cloud services and solutions.

- Documentation and Training

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and policies. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

- Education

: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Technical Skills

:

- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Proficiency in cloud architecture design and best practices.

- Robust knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
