Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Research Associate role based in Chennai.
The Clinical Research
Associate will monitor clinical trial sites, ensure adherence to study protocols, and verify accurate and complete source documentation and case report forms. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits, managing study files, and supporting investigators and site staff in meeting regulatory and ethical requirements. The role involves coordinating with clinical operations and project teams,
tracking trial progress, identifying and resolving site issues, and preparing detailed monitoring reports.
The Clinical Research
Associate will also assist in training site personnel on study procedures and contribute to continuous quality and process improvements within the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of clinical trial Protocols and the responsibilities of Clinical Research Associates.
- Hands-on experience with Clinical Trials and Clinical Operations, including site monitoring and documentation oversight.
- Proficiency in Research methodologies, data verification, and maintaining high-quality study records.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related field.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with investigators and site staff.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple sites or studies.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture systems and basic computer proficiency.
- Prior experience in a CRO or clinical research environment is an advantage.
