Role Description The Clinical Head Pathology will lead and supervise all pathology services at the Rohini center in an in office, full-time capacity. This role includes overseeing diagnostic accuracy, validating and reviewing pathology reports, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

The Clinical

Head will guide and mentor the pathology team, coordinate with clinicians and other diagnostic departments, and support multidisciplinary case discussions.

Responsibilities also include optimizing laboratory workflows, implementing best practices, supporting accreditation and audits,



and contributing to protocol development and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires active participation in clinical governance, training programs, and collaboration with leadership on service expansion and innovation.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in clinical and diagnostic pathology, including histopathology and cytopathology, with the ability to interpret complex cases accurately.
- Proficiency in laboratory management, quality assurance, and adherence to NABH or equivalent accreditation standards.
- Well-developed leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising pathologists, technicians, and support staff.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with clinicians, radiologists, oncologists, and administrative teams.
- Capacity to design and implement clinical protocols, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comfort with using laboratory information systems, digital reporting tools, and basic healthcare IT platforms.
- Recognized medical qualification (MD/DNB in Pathology or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate medical council.
- Significant post-qualification experience in a high-volume clinical pathology or hospital diagnostic setting; prior experience in a leadership role is preferred.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient-centered care, and maintaining high standards of safety and confidentiality.
