Role Description The Clinic Registered Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for managing the school clinic and providing comprehensive healthcare support to students and staff. Daily tasks include assessing and treating minor illnesses and injuries, administering prescribed medications, and monitoring students with chronic health conditions. The nurse maintains accurate health records, coordinates referrals to external healthcare providers when needed, and ensures emergency preparedness, including first aid readiness for school activities.

Additional responsibilities include promoting health education, supporting wellness initiatives,



collaborating with school leadership and parents on health-related concerns, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from a recognized nursing council and completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or Bachelor’s in Nursing).
- Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, basic treatment, emergency response, and first aid in a pediatric or school setting.
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities for maintaining health records, medication logs, and clinic inventory.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary school staff.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and respond calmly in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Familiarity with infection control practices, vaccination protocols, and basic public health guidelines.
- Previous experience in school nursing, pediatric nursing, or community health nursing is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in a residential school environment and participate in school events requiring medical support.
