Role Description The Civil Engineer role at DANLIN ENGINEERS is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruchirappalli.

The Civil

Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and reviewing civil and structural components for projects, including site layouts, foundations, and infrastructure works. Daily tasks include preparing drawings and calculations, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, checking compliance with applicable standards and codes, and supporting project documentation. The role involves conducting site visits, monitoring construction activities, and assisting in resolving technical issues with contractors and project stakeholders.

The Civil

Engineer will also contribute to quality assurance processes,



ensure adherence to safety guidelines, and participate in project review meetings.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, including design of foundations, concrete and steel structures, and basic geotechnical concepts.
- Proficiency with engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD or similar structural analysis tools, and MS Office for documentation and reporting).
- Ability to read and prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports, with attention to detail and adherence to relevant codes and standards.
- Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with the capacity to perform design calculations and check engineering outputs.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams (piping, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical) and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution; relevant internships or prior project experience are an advantage.
- Familiarity with quality management practices and safety standards; experience in consultancy or industrial projects is a plus.
