Candidate should have relevant experience of developing Civil and General drawings and models related to Industrial projects (exposure to other discipline design would be an added advantage)
and having in-depth knowledge and command on Autocad/Bricscad software.
Candidate from Engineering consulting organization would be the preference.
Responsibilities and Duties
Below are the key responsibilities of Civil and General Designer,
- Development / modification and updating Master plan considering various functions,
buildings, infrastructures, various interfaces and provisions according to
Engineer/Architect’s recommendation for recent as well as upgradation/expansion projects.
- Prepare/ develop Centerline drawings,
- Prepare/Develop Civil Structure drawings and details for RCC as well Steel structures.
- Prepare/Develop finishing schedules
- Prepare/Develop various views such as plan, elevations, Cross sections etc.
- Review and verification of multidisciplinary drawings with reference to civil & architectural drawings developed, and report & document variations if any and suggest/implement possible remedies to the variations.
- Derive Bill of Material from the drawing developed.
- Collect input from other discipline / functions such as PEB, Mechanical, Fire Fighting &
detection, Electrical, Instrumentation and incorporate their inputs to the drawings in order to have detailed drawings.
- In case of low work load, support other discipline projects by developing drawings as per the guidance and instructions from other discipline engineer.
- Organize stage review within the project team as well as client on specific stages of the design development.
- Take lead and spread positivity in handling every challenging situation and project demands.
- Whenever needed, visit the sites (across India / outside India) to collect the site measurements and develop the As-built drawings as per the project requirement.
- Ensure adherence on project deliverable submission timeline defined.
- During the free time slot availability, develop the standard templates/sketches / objects/
sheets / document that can add value to the future assignments of the company and can help in optimizing the time while delivering the project deliverables in actual.
- Develop Document Control Register and maintain the submission, approval and revision history in coordination with project coordinator
- Candidate must be willing to upgrade his/her skills to next level and improve continuously in order to take next level responsibility and become an active team member of an organization.
- Candidate must be willing to be an active member of Coenz Safety Committee as decided by QHS head and play an active role in ERT.
- Candidate must spread positivity and demonstrate leadership in his work profile and willing to grow him/herself in multi-direction.
- Candidate must be open to travel/ stay within / outside India for project purpose if needed.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- ITI / Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum 8 years (for ITI) to 6 Years of experience (for Diploma holder)
