Role Description The Civil AutoCAD Designer will work full time on-site in Coimbatore, preparing detailed civil and architectural drawings for various building projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating AutoCAD drawings, construction plans, and layout designs based on project specifications and standards. The role involves coordinating with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate translation of design concepts into technical drawings.
The designer will review and modify drawings during different project phases,
support space planning and site layouts, and maintain drawing documentation and version control. Regular collaboration with the site team to resolve design-related issues and ensure drawings align with practical construction requirements is expected.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings.
- Candidates should possess solid abilities in Drawing and Space Planning.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with project teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software, with knowledge of civil engineering drawing standards.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience working on building projects, preferably in residential or commercial construction.
- Attention to detail, ability to interpret technical specifications, and commitment to safety and compliance standards.
