Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Cisco ACI Network L3 Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, administration, troubleshooting, optimization, and support of enterprise data center networks based on Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure).

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus switches, data center networking, routing and switching, and should be capable of independently handling complex L2/L3 network incidents and escalations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, configure, and manage Cisco ACI Fabric environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot APIC, Spine, Leaf, and ACI fabric components.
- Configure and manage:

- Tenants
- VRFs
- Bridge Domains
- EPGs
- Contracts
- Application Profiles
- VLAN/VXLAN
- VMM Domains
- L3Out
- External EPGs

• Troubleshoot complex ACI fabric, connectivity, endpoint, contract, and policy- related issues.
- Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting involving VLAN, STP, VPC, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and related technologies.
- Configure and troubleshoot ACI L3Out, BGP/OSPF peering, route redistribution, and external connectivity.
- Manage integration of ACI with external network devices, firewalls, load balancers, and other infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot endpoint learning, EPG classification, contract enforcement, and traffic forwarding issues.
- Perform fault analysis, packet-level troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Analyze ACI faults, events,



health scores, logs, and fabric statistics.
- Handle L3 escalations from L1/L2 support teams and provide timely resolution.
- Perform network changes, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities in accordance with change-management processes.
- Participate in ACI fabric upgrades, expansion, migration, and optimization activities.
- Monitor network performance, capacity, availability, and overall health of the ACI setting.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, configuration documents, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with application, server, security, virtualization, storage, and cloud teams for end-to-end troubleshooting.
- Work with Cisco TAC and other technology vendors for complex issues when required.
- Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions for L1/L2 teams.
- Ensure compliance with network security, governance, and operational standards.

Additional Skills :

- Knowledge of Cisco Nexus Dashboard is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Cisco NX-OS is required.
- Exposure to VMware/Virtualization networking is desirable.
- Exposure to firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA/FTD is an advantage.
- Knowledge of load balancers such as F5 is desirable.
- Exposure to cloud networking AWS/Azure is an advantage.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Basic understanding of automation using Python/Ansible is desirable.
