: AWS AppStream and WorkSpaces Administrator

Overview We are seeking a skilled AWS AppStream and WorkSpaces Administrator to manage, support, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based end-user computing environments. This role requires hands-on experience with AWS AppStream 2.0, AWS WorkSpaces, image management, application delivery, user provisioning, connectivity troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and end-user experience optimization.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting virtual application and desktop delivery services, ensuring platform availability, security, performance, and operational efficiency. Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and Citrix ADC/NetScaler will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support AWS AppStream 2.0 and AWS WorkSpaces environments for virtual application and desktop delivery.

Manage user provisioning, application access, workspace assignments, and end-user connectivity support.

Install, configure, update, and maintain AppStream images, WorkSpaces bundles, and related platform components.

Support image creation, application packaging, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.

Troubleshoot AppStream and WorkSpaces issues related to connectivity, authentication, performance, profiles, printing, and application access.

Monitor platform health, availability, utilization, and performance to ensure reliable end-user experience.

Support patching, upgrades, capacity planning, security hardening, and operational maintenance activities.

Work with cloud, network, security, application, and endpoint teams to resolve incidents and implement service improvements.

Maintain operational documentation, SOPs,



support procedures, and knowledge articles.

Support automation and operational improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve service reliability.

Provide L2/L3 support for incidents, service requests, changes, and problem management related to AWS EUC services.

Provide support for Citrix environments where required, including basic troubleshooting of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, and Citrix ADC/NetScaler.

Required Skills & Experience 6 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with hands-on experience in end-user computing or virtual desktop environments.

Strong experience with AWS AppStream 2.0 and AWS WorkSpaces administration and support.

Experience with AppStream image management, application publishing, WorkSpaces provisioning, bundle management, and user access management.

Valuable understanding of Windows Server and Windows desktop operating systems.

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, user profiles, authentication, DNS, certificates, and endpoint connectivity.

Experience troubleshooting application access, login, network connectivity, and performance-related issues.

Knowledge of monitoring, incident management, change coordination, patching, and service improvement activities.

Exposure to automation or scripting using PowerShell or similar tools.

Basic understanding of cloud networking, security groups, VPC, subnets, routing, and access controls.





Citrix Administration Experience Is Preferred But Not Mandatory. Desired Competencies

About The Opportunity This role provides an opportunity to support enterprise-scale cloud-based virtual application and desktop delivery services using AWS AppStream 2.0 and AWS WorkSpaces. Citrix support experience will be an added advantage for hybrid EUC service environments.
