Green Rock Innovations is a climate tech and infrastructure technology company reengineering the raw material layer of Indian construction. We recycle decades-old, weathered rock into certified, low-carbon construction material, and we are building the marketplace and technology infrastructure that will define how that material moves at national scale.

We are now looking for a sharp, high-execution operator to join our Founder's Office as Chief of Staff to the leadership team.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

Two founders. Multiple production factories. A live fundraise in motion. A brand being built from scratch. A massive pipeline of deeply technical applications currently in process. Right now, there are simply not enough hours in the day to keep everything aligned, documented, and moving. We need one exceptional operator who sits precisely between strategy and execution, someone who makes the founder's day-to-day radically easier by owning problems end to end, not by flagging them and waiting.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Execution: Take ambiguous, half-formed founder priorities and turn them into structured, moving workstreams, without needing the problem explained twice. You work backward from the hardest roadblock in the business to the exact plan that clears it.

Operating Rhythm: Own the internal cadence between the two founders. Fix our documentation gaps permanently, weekly syncs, centralized decision logs, action-item tracking, and relentless follow-through until things are actually done, not just discussed.

Financial & Commercial Judgment: Build and stress-test models, understand unit economics, and know the difference between a number that's decorative and one that's load-bearing, whether that's pricing, supply chain cost structure, or a fundraising scenario.





Interface Management: Sit in high-stakes meetings, capture sharp minutes, and own the follow-up completely, managing the execution layer between the founders and our external agencies, legal teams, chartered accountants, and partners so neither founder is stuck chasing updates.

Investor & Governance Support: Support investor updates, board materials, and fundraising documentation with institutional-grade precision, this is one part of the role, not the whole of it.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS

Background: One of the following, and we mean it as a real filter, not a wishlist: prior startup founder (funded, operating, or shut down, we care about the scar tissue), strategic management consulting (top-tier or high-velocity boutique), or SaaS founder/early operator experience. A second, complementary background in finance or supply chain is a solid plus.

Agency: You do not wait for direction. You see the problem, you build the plan, you execute it, and you tell the founders what you did, not what you're about to do.

Aggression, calibrated: We want someone who pushes, internally and externally, who doesn't accept "that's just how it's done" as an answer, and who treats every inefficiency in this company as personally annoying to fix.

Technical & Research Leverage: Highly proficient with AI tools, automated research, and rapid model-building,



you operate at a speed that makes a normal week look slow.

Communication: Compressed, clear, no fluff. You don't need three paragraphs to make one point.

Adaptability: Your Monday plan will rarely survive to Friday, and that doesn't rattle you.

WHAT YOU GET

This is not a role where you learn by watching. You'll be inside real deal negotiations, real governance decisions, real operational fires, at a stage most people don't get access to until much later in their career. If you're building toward founding something yourself, or toward a senior operating role anywhere else, this is compressed, high-leverage experience that's hard to get any other way, in exchange for genuinely hard, high-intensity work.

COMPENSATION

Competitive fixed base for a Chief of Staff role at this stage, with meaningful equity upside as Green Rock scales, as well as above-industry-standard variables

LOCATION & LOGISTICS

Location: Mysuru, Karnataka / Calicut, Kerala. Flexible, but active regional travel is required.
