About the Company

Lets Try Foods is an FMCG company headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, focused on building and scaling consumer food businesses. The organization operates in a sector where dependable people systems, disciplined execution, and strong operational standards directly influence growth. As the company develops its teams and operating capabilities, the HR function is expected to become a business lever rather than an administrative service.

The company values leaders who can connect workforce decisions with productivity, compliance, culture, and commercial outcomes. This role will work closely with business leadership and operational teams to establish practical people practices that support a growing organization. The successful leader will help create a consistent employee experience while ensuring that statutory obligations and workplace standards remain reliable across the business.

The role offers the opportunity to shape the people foundation of an evolving FMCG company, strengthen management capability, and build HR processes that enable sustainable performance.

About the Role

As Chief Human Resources Officer, you will own the people agenda for Lets Try Foods and translate business priorities into effective workforce, culture, and compliance systems. You will lead HR strategy, employee relations, labor-law governance, and team capability across the organization. The role requires strong working knowledge of applicable labor laws, the Factories Act, statutory compliance, and practical HR operations.

You will partner with leadership to improve workforce effectiveness, strengthen manager accountability, and reduce people-related risk. Success means building a responsive HR function that supports business growth, maintains compliance discipline, and enables teams to perform consistently. This is a six-day onsite role in Gurugram, and candidates available immediately or within 15 days are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the company-wide HR strategy and operating rhythm, connecting workforce planning, organization design, and talent decisions to business growth, productivity, and leadership priorities.
- Establish governance for labor laws, the Factories Act, statutory obligations, audits, documentation, and employee relations, reducing compliance exposure through consistent controls and timely corrective action.

- Lead and develop the HR team through clear goals, operating standards, coaching, and review mechanisms, improving service quality, decision speed, and accountability across the function.
- Partner with business and operational leaders on workforce planning, performance management, engagement, retention, and succession, strengthening managerial effectiveness and continuity in critical roles.
- Build practical policies and people processes covering hiring, onboarding, attendance, leave, disciplinary matters, grievances, and exits, creating a consistent employee experience and reliable management data.
- Advise leadership on complex people decisions, workplace relations, and organizational change, balancing employee trust, legal requirements, operational needs, and sustainable business outcomes.

Essential Skills & Technologies

- Robust knowledge of Indian labor laws, the Factories Act, statutory compliance, inspections, audits, employee relations, and documentation requirements within an operating business environment.
- Proven HR leadership across workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee engagement, policy design, grievance handling, and organizational change, with measurable business impact.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and structure HR teams, establish accountability, and build reliable operating processes across corporate and frontline or plant-based workforces.

- You bring a hands-on leadership style that develops HR teams, raises manager capability, and creates clarity during sensitive employee, workforce, and organizational decisions.
- You bring commercial judgment, sound ethics, strong communication, and the resilience to work onsite six days each week while building systems that improve compliance, productivity, and employee experience.

Why Join Us

- Shape the people foundation of a growing FMCG company where HR leadership has direct influence on workforce effectiveness, operating discipline, culture, and business performance.

- Lead a function that can materially reduce compliance risk and improve management quality by connecting labor-law discipline with better workforce planning, employee relations, and execution.
- Join an organization where your experience can create visible impact across teams and operations, while helping establish the standards, processes, and culture required for sustainable growth.
