Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Bengaluru.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting, including preparation and review of financial statements, general ledger oversight, and reconciliation of accounts. The role involves handling direct and indirect tax compliance and advisory assignments, supporting statutory and internal audits, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting and regulatory standards. The professional will analyze financial data, prepare reports for clients and internal stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements and controls.

Accountant will collaborate with consultants and legal and tax specialists to deliver integrated solutions and support client engagements with high-quality documentation and client communication.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as Chartered Accountant (CA), with strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in core accounting functions, including preparation of financial statements, account reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Skills in tax compliance and advisory (direct and indirect taxes), including return preparation, tax planning support, and liaison with authorities where required.
- Exposure to audit processes, including statutory, internal, and tax audits, with the ability to prepare working papers and address audit queries.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools to prepare accurate reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams and prepare clear documentation and presentations.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a professional consulting environment.
- Prior experience in consulting firms or corporate finance/accounting roles is an advantage.
