Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Capacity Building Officer with 6-10 years of experience in training management, adult learning methodologies, stakeholder coordination, and capacity development programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring training initiatives that enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies across diverse stakeholder groups. The role requires strong presentation skills, effective coordination abilities, and expertise in developing learner-centric training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Capacity Building & Training Management

- Design and implement capacity-building strategies aligned with organizational and program objectives.
- Plan, organize, and manage training programs, workshops, webinars, and learning interventions.
- Conduct training needs assessments and identify competency gaps.
- Develop annual training plans, schedules, and learning roadmaps.
- Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on participant feedback and outcomes.

Adult Learning & Instructional Design
- Apply adult learning principles and methodologies to develop engaging learning experiences.
- Design training curricula, facilitator guides, participant manuals, and learning materials.
- Adapt training content to suit diverse learner groups and organizational requirements.
- Incorporate interactive learning techniques, case studies, simulations, and practical exercises.

Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, and presentations.
- Facilitate learner engagement and participation during training programs.
- Support trainers and subject matter experts in content delivery and learner assessment.
- Ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development among participants.

Stakeholder Coordination




- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, consultants, and training service providers.
- Liaise with departments and stakeholders to schedule and implement training initiatives.
- Maintain solid relationships with program teams and support capacity-building activities across projects.
- Coordinate logistics, venue arrangements, participant management, and training resources.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Track training participation, attendance, learning outcomes, and performance indicators.
- Develop training reports, dashboards, and impact assessments.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using feedback surveys and learning assessments.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.

Communication & Knowledge Management
- Prepare presentations, reports, training materials, and communication documents.
- Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and organizational learning programs.
- Promote best practices and continuous learning across teams.
- Ensure documentation and repository management for training resources.
