Role Description

This is a full time, on-site CA Article Trainee role based in Delhi, India.

The Article

Trainee will assist in statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and other assurance assignments under supervision. Daily responsibilities include preparing working papers, reviewing financial statements, supporting bookkeeping and accounting processes, and assisting with direct and indirect tax computations and filings. The role involves conducting basic research on accounting and tax matters, drafting reports and documentation,



and maintaining organized records for client engagements. The trainee will also coordinate with clients to collect information, support compliance activities, and participate in learning sessions to build technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

- Registered as a CA Article Trainee with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and eligible to commence articleship.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic auditing concepts.
- Working knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, with an eagerness to learn current laws and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with accounting or ERP software.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear working papers and reports.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and ability to follow structured processes and timelines.
- Capacity to work on-site in Delhi, collaborate within a team, and manage multiple assignments.
