About the role:

Disha Capital is looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Assistant Vice President – Corporate Sales to drive business growth and strengthen our presence in the corporate insurance market.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role for a professional with strong experience in Corporate Sales and General Insurance/Insurance Broking. The incumbent will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, building strategic relationships with senior corporate decision-makers, developing a robust business pipeline, achieving revenue targets, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of acquiring and managing corporate clients, closing high-value deals, and independently driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently drive new corporate business acquisition and achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified corporate opportunities.
- Develop relationships with CXOs and key decision-makers to generate new business opportunities.
- Drive end-to-end sales from prospecting and need analysis to proposal presentation, negotiation and deal closure.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the corporate insurance portfolio.
- Personally participate in strategic client meetings and high-value deal closures.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with insurance companies, underwriters and other strategic partners.
- Work closely with Placement, Underwriting,



Operations and Claims teams to ensure seamless client acquisition, policy placement and servicing.
- Lead negotiations with insurers to secure competitive coverage, pricing and terms for corporate clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 professionals, ensuring smooth collaboration, performance, monitoring, and development of team members.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant insurance qualifications will be an added advantage.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Sales, Business Development, or Corporate Relationship Management.
- Strong preference for candidates from a General Insurance Company or Insurance Broking organization.
- Proven experience in acquiring and managing corporate clients.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with senior corporate stakeholders and CXO-level decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of the General Insurance and Corporate Insurance ecosystem.
- Experience in driving revenue growth and achieving challenging business targets.
- An established and relevant corporate network in Bangalore/Karnataka will be an added advantage.
