Objective
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Solar Maintenance Engineer to support the effective operation and maintenance of solar power plants and related electrical systems. The candidate will utilize their technical knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, and maintenance expertise to ensure reliable plant performance, minimize equipment downtime, improve system reliability, and maintain safe and efficient site operations.

Skills Required
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and result-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel and work across PAN India.
- Comfortable travelling by bus and train as per project requirements.
- Willingness to stay at project sites for periods ranging from 1 to 60 days, depending on operational requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with technicians, contractors, and project teams.
- Awareness of electrical safety practices, PPE, and site safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of solar PV systems and associated electrical equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot,
and maintain solar modules, inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels, cables, junction boxes, earthing systems, and related electrical infrastructure.
- Monitor solar plant performance and identify faults affecting power generation and equipment efficiency.
- Diagnose electrical and basic mechanical issues and take corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of solar modules, mounting structures, cables, connectors, junction boxes, and other plant equipment.
- Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and site teams for maintenance, repair, and replacement activities.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Maintain daily maintenance records, inspection reports, breakdown reports, checklists, and equipment history.
- Support panel cleaning and ensure solar modules are maintained for optimum power generation.
- Monitor equipment condition and report recurring issues or potential failures to the concerned supervisor.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) practices and PPE requirements.
- Ensure compliance with site HSE standards and company safety policies.
- Assist in improving equipment reliability, reducing maintenance-related downtime, and supporting efficient plant operations.
- Travel to different project locations across India as per operational and maintenance requirements.
