Role Summary:
A capable and business-oriented Corporate Legal professional to support legal, compliance, governance, contract, research and advisory matters for India operations. The role will work closely with internal stakeholders across finance, HR, procurement, operations, and business teams to provide practical legal advice, manage risk, and support compliant business execution.
Roles & Responsibility:
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, consulting agreements, statements of work, amendments, and other business documents.
Provide legal advice to business and support functions on corporate, commercial, employment, compliance, and regulatory matters relevant to India operations.
Support corporate governance activities, including maintenance of entity records, board and shareholder documentation, resolutions, statutory registers, and coordination with company secretarial teams where applicable
Partner with finance, procurement, HR, and operations teams to identify legal risks and provide pragmatic, business-aligned solutions.
Assist in implementing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures, including anti-bribery and anti-corruption, conflict of interest, data privacy, whistleblower, POSH, and other India-specific regulatory requirements.
Support internal investigations, audits, compliance reviews, research and remediation actions in coordination with relevant stakeholders and external counsel.
Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation, employment, corporate, regulatory, and transactional matters as required.
Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations and provide relevant updates to internal teams.
Develop and improve legal templates, playbooks, standard positions, and process documentation to enhance legal efficiency and consistency.
Conduct legal awareness sessions and support training initiatives for business teams on contracts, compliance, ethics, governance, and employment-related topics.
Primary Skill:

Qualifications:
LL.B. from a recognized Indian law school; LL.M. or additional corporate law/compliance certification is desirable but not mandatory.
Certification:
Certification in Labour Law, Corporate Law, Income tax Act will be added advantage
