Profile : Associate Civil Engineer (Project Monitoring & Coordination)

Location: Noida Head Office

Lochan & Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Civil Engineer to join our team. This role is focused on project monitoring, coordination, reporting, and business development support for government and international development-partner-funded projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Monitoring & Coordination

Establish project control matrices, workplans, and mobilisation schedules

Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and field teams

Interface with clients/PMUs, arrange meetings, prepare agendas & minutes

Maintain dashboards, trackers, and deliverable registers

Compile weekly/monthly progress reports and ensure quality compliance

Manage risk, issue, and change registers; support contract administration

Maintain complete document and information control for audit trails

Business Development & Proposal Support (20%)

Review EOIs, RFPs, and bidding documents for compliance

Support drafting of technical approach, methodology, and workplans

Assist in preparing quality assurance and risk mitigation strategies

Candidate Requirements

Education





Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

Postgraduate in Project/Construction Management, Infrastructure Planning, or Environmental Engineering (preferred)

Experience

3–4 years in consultancy, PMC, or project coordination

Experience with government or IFI-funded projects (World Bank, ADB, UN, etc.) preferred

Exposure to technical proposal drafting desirable

Sector exposure in infrastructure (buildings, water, sanitation, transport, urban development, etc.) advantageous

Core Skills

Robust project coordination & follow-up skills

Ability to maintain dashboards, schedules, and registers

Clear reporting & document control abilities

Sound technical judgment for reviewing engineering inputs

Excellent written & verbal English communication

Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with MS Project/Primavera, PMIS, AutoCAD is a plus
