Role Description As an Assistant Team Lead (Counseling) at Compare Degree, you will support and guide a counseling team that assists students in evaluating and comparing higher education options. In this full-time, on-site role based in Noida, you will oversee day-to-day counseling operations, ensure that advisors provide accurate and empathetic guidance, and help maintain high service standards. You will collaborate with team members to design and refine counseling processes, monitor performance metrics, and provide feedback and training to improve student interactions.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating schedules, handling escalated queries, ensuring consistent use of platform tools,



and working closely with management to align counseling practices with organizational goals. You will also contribute to student outreach initiatives, help refine communication materials, and support continuous improvement of the counseling experience.

Qualifications

- Experience in academic counseling, student advisory, career guidance, or a related field, preferably in an edtech or education environment.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills, including the ability to mentor, motivate, and support counseling staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on clear, empathetic, and student-centered interactions.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with experience managing schedules, workflows, and performance targets.
- Comfort using digital tools and platforms, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new systems for student counseling and data tracking.
- Analytical mindset to interpret student data and feedback, and to contribute to process improvements and service quality enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications in counseling or guidance are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven team setting.
