Role Description The Assistant Stores and Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Lemon Tree Hotels in Tirupati. This position supports the end-to-end procurement and stores operations, including sourcing goods and services, obtaining quotations, negotiating with vendors, and placing purchase orders in line with hotel standards and budgets. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, overseeing receipt and verification of deliveries, maintaining accurate stock records,



and coordinating with departments to ensure timely availability of materials.

The Assistant

Manager will implement and follow purchasing and stores procedures, support audits and compliance requirements, and assist in maintaining cost control and quality benchmarks. Collaboration with the finance and operations teams, preparation of regular reports, and training stores staff on processes and systems are also key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors effectively.
- Experience in Retail Sales and purchasing or materials management, preferably within hospitality or a similar service-driven environment.
- Excellent Organization Skills for inventory control, documentation, and adherence to procurement processes.
- Ability to provide Training and guidance to stores staff on standard operating procedures and systems.
- Relevant experience in stores, purchasing, or supply chain management, ideally in hotels or hospitality.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and basic ERP or inventory management systems.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial and material transactions, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site operational setting.
