Role: Supporting Dubai Team

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Purchase, Logistics & Supply Chain to manage procurement, logistics coordination, vendor management, inventory movement, and end-to-end supply chain activities. The candidate will primarily be based in Sonipat and will provide regular operational support to the Dubai team.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase & Procurement

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for materials, components, consumables and services.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.
- Float RFQs, compare quotations and negotiate price, quality, delivery and payment terms.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain supplier records, commercial documentation and procurement MIS.
- Develop alternate sources to ensure cost competitiveness and uninterrupted supply.

Logistics & Supply Chain

- Coordinate domestic and international logistics activities from order placement to final delivery.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, clearing agents and logistics partners.
- Support import/export shipments and coordinate required documentation.
- Track shipments, delivery schedules, freight costs and transit status.
- Coordinate closely with the Dubai team for shipment planning, material requirements and delivery timelines.
- Ensure smooth movement of materials between suppliers,



Sonipat operations and Dubai.

Inventory & Material Management

- Monitor inventory levels, material availability and stock movement.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Planning, Purchase and Finance teams.
- Ensure timely availability of critical materials and avoid stock-outs.
- Monitor slow-moving and excess inventory and support corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate procurement and supply chain records.

Vendor Management

- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery and service.
- Conduct regular supplier follow-ups and resolve delivery/commercial issues.
- Support vendor development and performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with key suppliers.

Dubai Team Coordination

- Act as the key coordination point between the Sonipat operations and Dubai team.
- Understand Dubai team's material and logistics requirements and ensure timely execution.
- Share regular updates on procurement status, shipment schedules, pending orders and critical issues.
- Participate in virtual meetings and provide MIS/reports to the Dubai management team.
- Coordinate on urgent requirements and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Robust knowledge of Purchase, Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.




- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of domestic and international logistics processes.
- Working knowledge of import/export documentation and freight coordination.
- Strong follow-up, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Good command of MS Excel, ERP/SAP/Tally or other procurement systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working with international teams, particularly the Dubai team.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or a related field.
- MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain.
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing/engineering/automotive/electrical/electronics industries will be preferred.
- Experience in coordinating with UAE/Dubai-based teams or international suppliers will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
