Assistant Manager – Cargo Operations (Mumbai) /n We're Hiring | Assistant Manager – Cargo Operations /n Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra /n Company: Aeroprime Services Private Limited /n Employment Type: Full-Time /n Aeroprime Services Private Limited is looking for an Assistant Manager – Cargo Operations to join our Mumbai team and ensure seamless cargo operations while delivering exceptional service to airline partners and customers. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Oversee day-to-day cargo operations and ensure compliance with airline and regulatory requirements.

/n

- Coordinate with airlines, airport authorities, ground handling agencies, freight forwarders, and customers.

/n

- Monitor cargo acceptance, build-up, ULD management, documentation, and dispatch.

/n

- Ensure timely handling of export and import cargo while maintaining service quality standards.

/n

- Lead, mentor, and manage the cargo operations team.

/n

- Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements.

/n

- Ensure adherence to DGCA, IATA, airline SOPs, safety, and security guidelines.

/n

- Handle customer escalations and provide effective operational solutions.

/n

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

/n

- Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Finance,



and Customer Service for smooth operations.

/n /n Preferred Qualifications /n /n

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

/n

- IATA Cargo, DGR, or related aviation certifications will be an added advantage.

/n

- Solid knowledge of cargo documentation, airline operations, and airport procedures.

/n

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

/n

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

/n /n Experience /n /n

- 5–8 years of experience in Airline Cargo Operations, GSA Cargo, Ground Handling, or Freight Operations.

/n

- Minimum 2 years of team handling experience preferred.
