Policybazaar is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager – Term Insurance to lead and drive field sales operations in Malappuram. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Life Insurance / Term Insurance sales, proven team-handling capabilities, and a consistent track record of achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Field Sales Executives to achieve assigned business targets.
- Drive sales performance and ensure consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies for the Term Insurance business.
- Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews to enhance team productivity.
- Manage day-to-day field sales operations across the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor team performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
- Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration across Malappuram.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to drive business growth.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and regulatory guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Insurance Sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and managing Field Sales teams.
- Experience in Life Insurance / Term Insurance sales is preferred.
- Proficiency in Malayalam (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of the Malappuram/Kerala market and local customer landscape.
- Willingness to work in a target-driven, field-based sales environment.
