- AI Video Editor

About the Role

- We are looking for a creative and technically skilled AI Video Editor who can transform health, nutrition, wellness and science topics into engaging, visually powerful Instagram Reels.
- The role involves taking a topic from concept to final reel, including understanding the science, developing the visual concept, creating AI assets and editing the final video.
- The ideal candidate should think like a visual storyteller, not just an editor.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-quality AI-generated health and science reels from scratch.
- Understand the topic/script and convert complex scientific information into simple, impactful and self-explanatory visuals.
- Create inside-body visualisations of organs, hormones, cells, tissues, blood flow, metabolic processes and physiological changes.
- Develop visual concepts independently based on the topic and identify what needs to be shown visually.
- Use AI tools to create characters, environments, animations, medical/scientific visuals and cinematic sequences.
- Combine AI-generated footage with professional editing, motion graphics, animation, sound design and VFX where required.
- Create content in both Hindi and English, with an understanding of language-specific storytelling and pacing.
- Collaborate with content/science teams while also being capable of independently executing the visual treatment.

Instagram & Performance Understanding

- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and social media content performance.
- Understand hooks, retention, watch time, replays, shares, saves and audience behaviour.




- Use content analytics and performance data to identify what is working and improve future reels.
- Understand how visual storytelling, pacing and editing can influence retention and engagement.
- Stay updated with emerging AI and social media trends and experiment with new formats and techniques.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

- 3–4 years of relevant experience in video editing, AI video creation, digital content or a similar field.
- Strong experience creating AI reels/videos from concept to final output.
- Proficiency across multiple AI video, image-generation and editing tools.
- Robust understanding of video editing, transitions, pacing, motion graphics and visual storytelling.
- Ability to independently research and understand a topic before creating its visual treatment.
- Positive understanding of health, nutrition, biology or science is preferred.
- Strong creative judgement, attention to detail and ability to deliver within timelines.
- Ability to continuously learn and adopt new AI tools and workflows.

Ideal Candidate

- Someone who can take a science topic → understand it → visualise it → create the AI assets → edit an impactful reel → analyse its performance → improve the next one.
- Someone who can make a complex scientific concept understandable without relying entirely on text or voice-over.
- Someone who understands that great health content needs to be scientifically accurate, visually compelling and optimised for attention.
