About the Department/Project

We are developing an AI-assisted clinic platform designed to support doctors and clinic staff across the complete patient journey—from reception and appointment management through clinical assessment, laboratory/bio-marker interpretation, diagnosis support, treatment planning, follow-up, and patient-related tasks.

The objective is not to replace the doctor . The platform is intended to help doctors make better-informed decisions, reduce administrative workload, standardize clinical workflows, and improve continuity of patient care.

As this is an early-stage POC, the selected doctor will play a critical role in both operating the clinic and shaping the AI software that will eventually support clinics at scale .

Position Summary

We are looking for a qualified, tech-savvy General Physician who is enthusiastic about combining clinical medicine with technology and AI.

The ideal candidate will work as a practicing General Physician while also serving as a Clinical Product Lead / Clinical AI Advisor for the project.

You will help us understand how doctors actually work, identify where AI can safely and effectively assist them, define clinical workflows, review AI-generated outputs, test prototypes, and translate clinical requirements into software features.

This is an opportunity for a doctor who wants to participate in building the next generation of AI-assisted primary-care clinics in India .

Key Responsibilities0. Setup Clinic

- Assit/Establish clinic with support from Mgmt with 100% compliance to local regulations/compliances.
- Help the Mgmt team to fullfill all the day-to-day activities till Clinic establishment is complete.

1. Clinical Practice

- Conduct patient consultations as a General Physician.
- Take medical history and perform appropriate clinical examinations.
- Assess symptoms and develop differential diagnoses.
- Review laboratory investigations, bio-markers, imaging reports, and other available clinical information.
- Develop appropriate treatment and management plans.
- Provide patient education and lifestyle guidance where appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress and conduct follow-up consultations.
- Identify cases requiring referral to specialists, emergency care, or additional investigation.
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Practice in accordance with applicable Indian medical laws, professional standards, and ethical requirements.

1. AI-Assisted Clinical Workflow

The doctor will actively use and evaluate the AI system during the POC, including:
- AI-assisted patient intake and history collection.
- AI-generated summaries of patient information.
- AI-assisted clinical decision support.
- AI-assisted analysis and interpretation of laboratory/bio-marker reports.
- AI-supported differential diagnosis generation.
- AI-assisted treatment-plan preparation.
- Patient follow-up and monitoring.
- Appointment and task tracking.
- Identification of missing clinical information or recommended investigations.
- Patient communication and reminders where appropriate.

The doctor will review, validate, correct, and approve AI-generated clinical information before it is used for patient care .

1. Clinical Validation of AI

A major responsibility of this role will be ensuring that the software is clinically useful and safe.

You will





- Review AI-generated clinical outputs for accuracy and relevance.
- Identify clinically incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or potentially unsafe recommendations.
- Define situations where the AI should ask for additional information.
- Identify situations where the AI must defer to the doctor.
- Help establish clinical safety rules and escalation criteria.
- Develop representative clinical scenarios and test cases.
- Evaluate AI performance across common General Practice presentations.
- Provide structured feedback to the technology/product team.
- Help establish clinical acceptance criteria before features are deployed.

1. Shape the AI Clinic Software

The successful candidate will be directly involved in designing the product , not simply testing it. You will work with software engineers, AI/ML specialists, product managers, and UX designers to:

- Map the complete patient journey through the clinic.
- Document how doctors currently conduct consultations.
- Identify repetitive, time-consuming, and error-prone clinical tasks.
- Identify tasks where AI can provide meaningful assistance.
- Define requirements for doctor-facing dashboards.
- Define requirements for patient records and clinical timelines.
- Help design AI-assisted consultation workflows.
- Define how laboratory and bio-marker reports should be presented to doctors.
- Help design treatment-plan and follow-up workflows.
- Define appointment, task, and patient follow-up requirements.
- Review prototypes and provide clinical usability feedback.
- Participate in product demonstrations and sprint reviews.
- Prioritize clinical features based on patient benefit, clinical value, safety, and practicality.

1. Develop Clinical Knowledge & Workflows

The doctor will help create the clinical foundation of the platform, including:
- Standard clinical workflows for common primary-care conditions.
- Clinical data requirements for patient assessment.
- Structured history-taking templates.
- Examination and observation workflows.
- Laboratory/bio-marker interpretation frameworks.
- Clinical red flags and escalation pathways.
- Referral criteria.
- Follow-up protocols.
- Treatment-plan templates.
- Patient education workflows.
- Clinical documentation standards.

Where appropriate, these workflows will be converted into structured rules, prompts, datasets, and product specifications for the AI system.
1. Laboratory & Bio-Marker Intelligence

The doctor will play an important role in developing the platform's laboratory-analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities may include

- Reviewing common laboratory investigations used in Indian primary care.
- Helping define clinically meaningful reference ranges and contextual interpretation.
- Identifying clinically important patterns across multiple biomarkers.
- Reviewing AI-generated laboratory summaries.
- Helping the product team distinguish between isolated abnormal values and clinically meaningful combinations of findings.
- Defining when laboratory findings should trigger further evaluation, repeat testing, referral, or urgent attention.
- Helping design patient-friendly explanations of laboratory results.

1. Continuous Product Improvement





The doctor will participate in an iterative Clinical → AI → Doctor → Feedback → Product Improvement cycle.

This includes

- Reporting problems encountered during real-world use.
- Suggesting improvements to workflows and interfaces.
- Reviewing new AI capabilities.
- Participating in user acceptance testing.
- Helping measure clinical usefulness and workflow efficiency.
- Tracking recurring AI errors and failure modes.
- Contributing to product roadmap discussions.
- Helping determine which clinical tasks should and should not be automated.

Ideal Candidate ProfileRequired
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution in India.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council / National Medical Commission framework, as applicable.
- Experience in General Medicine / General Practice / Primary Care.
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient-management skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working with computers, digital medical records, and software applications.
- Willingness to work closely with a technology/product development team.
- Strong interest in AI, healthcare technology, or digital health.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with new technology.

Highly Preferred
- MD/DNB in General Medicine or relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Experience working with EMR/EHR or digital healthcare systems.
- Familiarity with AI/LLMs, clinical decision-support systems, or healthcare technology.
- Experience with telemedicine or digital health platforms.
- Interest or experience in healthcare product development.
- Ability to translate clinical requirements into clear software requirements.
- Experience participating in clinical research, quality improvement, or healthcare innovation projects.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in an early-stage / startup / POC environment.

Compensation Competitive full-time compensation , commensurate with the candidate's clinical qualifications, experience, and level of involvement in the AI product development program.
