Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time role based in Dibrugarh East with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the counselor engages with prospective students and families, provides detailed information about AESL programs, and guides them through the admissions process from initial inquiry to enrollment.

Day-to-day activities include handling walk-in and telephonic inquiries, conducting counseling sessions,



following up with leads, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems. The counselor collaborates with academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and supports local outreach activities such as seminars and information sessions. The role also involves meeting admissions and conversion targets while upholding AESL’s student-centric values and providing a professional, supportive experience to all applicants.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive admissions experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments and meet defined admissions targets ethically and transparently.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding or experience, preferably in test preparation or academic counseling.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM tools, solid organizational and follow-up skills, the ability to work in a target-driven environment, and fluency in English and local languages.
