WE ARE HIRING: Accountant

Role Overview

This is a senior leadership position for a finance professional ready to drive financial strategy, ensure regulatory excellence, and lead the accounts function of a premier educational institution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Strategy & Leadership: Lead the Accounts Department and align financial operations with the institution's vision and growth plans.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare institutional budgets, monitor departmental expenditure, and enforce effective cost-management practices.
- MIS & Financial Reporting: Develop comprehensive MIS dashboards, cash-flow projections, and present financial insights to management.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate compliance for GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and represent the institution during assessments.
- Trust & Society Accounting: Oversee accounting frameworks specific to educational societies/trusts, including exemptions under 10(23C), 12A, and 80G.
- Audit & Internal Controls: Manage statutory, internal,



and government audits while strengthening internal financial controls.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and evaluate a high-performing accounts team, fostering accuracy and accountability.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or B.Com & MBA in Finance/M.Com. with strong academic and professional credentials.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years post-qualification for CA or 5 years for B.Com & MBA/M.Com. Prior leadership experience in a school, university, or educational trust preferred.

Key Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of institutional accounting, GST, and trust/society regulations
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, ERP/school management software, and advanced Excel
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making abilities
