About the Role /n We are a SEBI-registered stock broking firm and Exchange Member seeking an experienced Accountant to manage books of accounts, client and exchange settlements, statutory compliances, and audit support with accuracy and timeliness. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts, journal entries, and general ledger scrutiny

/n

- Handle client ledger accounting, brokerage accounting, and reconciliation of client balances

/n

- Reconcile bank accounts, exchange settlement accounts, and pay-in/pay-out entries on a daily basis

/n

- Maintain segregation of client and own funds as per SEBI norms; assist in Enhanced Supervision reporting

/n

- Account for margin deposits, collateral, FDs, bank guarantees, and exchange deposits

/n

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financials — P&L;, Balance Sheet, and MIS reports

/n

- Assist in Net Worth Certificate, Annual Audit, Internal Audit, and Exchange/SEBI inspections with data and reconciliations

/n

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and CA for finalisation of accounts

/n

- Manage vendor payments, expense accounting, payroll entries, and petty cash

/n





- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules

/n /n Required Skills & Qualifications /n /n

- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent

/n

- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a stock broking firm (mandatory)

/n

- Solid knowledge of client ledger, settlement, and brokerage accounting in the broking environment

/n

- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and STT provisions

/n

- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Prime and broking back office software (Mirakle / BOSS / Genius or equivalent)

/n

- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).

/n

- Understanding of SEBI/Exchange accounting norms, client fund segregation, and quarterly settlement.

/n

- High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

/n /n Preferred /n /n

- Experience in preparing Net Worth Certificates and handling Exchange inspections.

/n

- Exposure to DP (CDSL/NSDL) billing and reconciliation.
