Summary

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Test Engineer to lead end-to-end testing initiatives across data and technology projects. This role involves defining test strategies, planning and managing testing activities, leading testing teams, managing defects, tracking quality metrics, and working closely with clients and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

- Develop and define comprehensive test strategies and test plans based on project requirements and technical specifications

- Analyze project requirements and estimate the testing effort, resources, timelines, and budget required

- Organize testing kick-off meetings and establish testing processes and standards

- Build, manage, and lead testing teams, ensuring appropriate allocation of tasks and resources

- Identify training requirements and coordinate with project management teams for technical and soft-skill development

- Develop test plans covering tasks, dependencies, participants, risks, and mitigation strategies

Requirements

- Robust experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Test Management

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience analyzing requirements to determine testing effort

- Experience in Big Data Testing, ETL, Data Warehousing, and SQL

- Hands-on experience with SQL Database, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python

- Understanding of Batch and Real-Time Data Processing





- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes, including cadences, roles, and deliverables

- Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar project management/testing tools
