Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer 3 with robust software development expertise to join our API Platform Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable, cloud-native APIs and services while driving engineering excellence and best practices across the team. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Architecture, Quality Engineering, and cross-functional engineering teams to shape technical direction and deliver secure, reliable, and customer-centric solutions.

Job Requirements
- 4–7 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Node.js and Python, with experience delivering maintainable production-quality software.
- Strong experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL APIs in production environments.
- Proven experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications using AWS services.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, scalability,



performance optimisation, reliability, and testing practices.
- Experience owning technical solutions and delivering features with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control, Bitbucket, Jira, CI/CD practices, and Agile development.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions through collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of medium to large features, from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Python.
- Design and enhance RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs for customer-facing and internal applications.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
