Role Summary
The Associate Manager, Paid Media will work with designated business marketing teams in planning, executing, and optimizing HCLTech's paid media campaigns across digital and programmatic channels. This role partners closely with industry verticals, capability horizontals, and corporate marketing teams to translate their business goals into media activation strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
This will be an individual contributor role. You will work in a team of four to five other digital marketers and collaborate within the team, with partner agencies, Advertising platforms, and internal stakeholders to ensure best-in-class B2B and ABM paid media campaigns activations, reporting and innovation.

- Own end-to-end paid media planning, execution, and reporting across global and regional campaigns.
- Manage day-to-day operations across platforms, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, The Trade Desk, DV360, 6sense, Reddit, Snapchat and other emerging channels.
- Partner with campaign leads, marketing operations, analytics, and creative teams to design integrated channel strategies and ensure consistent brand presence across paid touchpoints.
- Track and optimise against defined paid media KPIs like Engagement Rates, CPC, CPM and CTR, Bounce rates and other stickiness metrices
- Oversee relationships with media agencies and platform vendors, ensuring transparency, compliance, and performance accountability.
- Test and scale new audience strategies and ad technologies (e.g., intent data, predictive audience targeting, account-based activation).
- Partner with analytics and data teams to refine attribution modelling, ensure clean campaign tagging, and deliver actionable insights.
- Execute campaigns aligned to approved media plans and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate and brainstorm with the paid media team in campaign execution, analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Maintain a high standard of operational excellence - from budget pacing and process documentation to brand and creative compliance.

Other Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in paid media or performance marketing, ideally within B2B technology and IT services.
- Solid understanding of digital advertising ecosystems (paid search, paid social, display banners, programmatic and account-based).
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads, The Trade Desk, Reddit Ads, Content Syndication and 6sense (or similar).
- Proven track record managing large-scale paid campaigns and optimizing toward measurable ROI.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Keywords Research, GTM, Factor.ai and other conversion tag implementation
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and CAPI integration in campaign workflows.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel, Looker Studio, or equivalent reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate performance results and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring up-and-coming talent
