Role Description The WordPress Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The developer will build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins to support Corporate Hostel’s platform and marketing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing front-end designs, optimizing site performance, ensuring responsive and accessible layouts, and integrating back-end functionality as needed.

The role involves collaborating with design, marketing,



and product teams to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences, as well as troubleshooting issues, managing updates, and maintaining site security and stability.

Qualifications

- Strong front-end development skills, including WordPress theme customization, Responsive Web Design, and Web Design.

- Experience with Web Development and Back-End Web Development for WordPress, including plugin integration and basic server-side configuration.

- Proficiency in core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with PHP and MySQL.

- Experience with WordPress best practices, performance optimization, security hardening, and SEO-friendly implementation.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret design and business requirements, and deliver clean, maintainable code.

- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks in an in office environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Prior experience in a tech or platform-based company and familiarity with accommodation or real estate platforms is an advantage.
