Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Video Editing Instructor at Tutedude. The instructor will design and deliver structured lessons covering video editing, motion graphics, VFX, audio, color grading, and AI-powered video creation workflows.

Day-to-day responsibilities include creating instructional content, recording lectures, mentoring learners, and reviewing practical projects. The role also involves creating assignments, providing actionable feedback, and keeping course content updated with current tools, techniques, and industry trends. The instructor will work closely with the academic and content teams to ensure a practical and high-quality learning experience.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing,



with the ability to teach complete workflows from editing to final export.
- Proficiency in Video Colour Grading, Motion Graphics, VFX, and Audio Production.
- Robust understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design, and visual effects.
- Hands-on expertise with professional tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, Adobe Audition, or similar software.
- Strong practical knowledge of AI-powered video creation tools such as Google Veo / Flow, Kling AI, Runway, HeyGen, Adobe Firefly, Meta AI, ElevenLabs, or other emerging AI video tools.
- Experience creating Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, educational content, and promotional videos.
- Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or content creation experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and practical way.
- Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and provide timely feedback to learners.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating skilled video editing and production work.

Important

- We are not looking for someone who knows only one editing software. The ideal candidate should have broad practical knowledge across video editing, motion graphics, VFX, audio, color grading, and modern AI video tools, and should be able to teach these skills through practical, industry-relevant projects.
