Role Description The Trainee Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The individual in this role will assist senior engineers in developing aluminium formwork designs, preparing layout drawings, and performing basic structural calculations as guided by the team. Day-to-day tasks include converting design concepts into detailed CAD drawings, reviewing construction plans, and helping to optimize formwork configurations for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

The trainee will support project documentation,



coordinate with project and site teams to understand design requirements, and update design revisions as projects progress. The role also involves learning company standards, participating in design reviews, and gradually taking ownership of assigned design tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in civil or structural engineering, including basic understanding of building construction and load-bearing systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in CAD or similar design software, with the ability to create and modify technical drawings and layouts.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Candidates should possess good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with design, project, and site teams.
- Candidates should possess attention to detail, a willingness to learn aluminium formwork technology, and the ability to follow engineering standards and safety guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is preferred; prior internship or project work in construction or formwork design is an advantage.
