Job Description 3D Technical Publications | 9 years To 12 years | Bangalore n n The candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product Support, Service, Aftermarket, Manufacturing, and Digital Documentation teams to create accurate, interactive, and customer-focused parts information. n Key Responsibilities n n Parts Documentation Development n Develop, update, and maintain: n Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) n Spare Parts Catalog n Parts Manuals n Recommended Spare Parts Lists (RSPL) n Service Parts Documentation n Create detailed parts identification and parts provisioning information. n Ensure parts data accuracy, interchangeability information, and configuration applicability. n Manage documentation updates resulting from engineering changes and field feedback. n n 3D Technical Publications n n Develop and publish interactive 3D technical content for maintenance, parts identification, and service applications. n Generate exploded views, assembly/disassembly sequences, and interactive product visualizations. n Support creation of digital work instructions and visualization-based technical content. n Collaborate with engineering teams to transform CAD data into customer-facing technical publications. n Drive adoption of 3D and interactive content technologies. n Improve user experience through visualization and digital publication capabilities. n Support integration of technical publications with aftermarket and service platforms.



n n Education n Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering/Industrial Engineering or Related Engineering Discipline n n Experience n 9 years To 12 years of experience in technical publications or parts documentation in automotive industry n n Proven experience developing: n Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) n Spare Parts Manuals n Component Catalogs n Interactive 3D Publications n n Technical Skills n n Robust knowledge on: n Product structures and assemblies n BOM management n Configuration management n Engineering change processes n Technical illustration standards n Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD data. n Experience with interactive 3D publishing environments. n Strong written and visual communication skills. n n Tools & Technologies n n Hands-on experience with one or more of Technical Publication tools: n Arbortext Editor n Adobe FrameMaker n SDL/Tridion Docs n Creo Illustrate n IsoDraw n Teamcenter / Windchill / ENOVIA n n n n 3D Visualization Tools n Creo Illustrate n CATIA Composer or SolidWorks Composer n Cortona3D n 3DEXPERIENCE n n Core Competencies n n Illustrated Parts Catalog Development n Spare Parts Documentation n 3D Interactive Publishing n Product Structure & BOM Management n Engineering Drawing Interpretation n Technical Illustration n Configuration Management n Quality & Compliance n n
