Operations Head - Liquid Waste Handling

We are looking for a seasoned Operations Head to lead our liquid waste handling operations in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of liquid waste management, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving project execution, managing vendor relationships, and implementing quality and change management initiatives. This senior leadership role requires a deep understanding of waste handling processes, strong project and tender management skills, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the end‑to‑end liquid waste handling operations, ensuring productive and compliant processes.
Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets for waste management initiatives.
Oversee compliance management, ensuring all operations meet local environmental regulations and industry standards.
Manage tender processes, including drafting RFPs, evaluating bids,



and negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers.
Implement and maintain quality management systems to guarantee high standards of waste handling and disposal.
Drive change management initiatives to improve operational efficiency and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain robust vendor relationships, monitoring performance and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, finance, and legal, to align operational goals with organizational strategy.

Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
15 to 20 years of progressive experience in liquid waste management or a related operations role.
Proven expertise in project management, project execution, and tender management.
Solid knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for waste handling in India.
