Role & responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations: Supervise inward and outward movement of medicines and healthcare products.
- Ensure accurate receiving, checking, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of stocks.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO practices for medicine inventory management. Ensure timely replenishment and stock availability.
- Inventory Management Conduct daily stock verification and periodic inventory audits.
- Monitor expiry, near-expiry, damaged, and non-moving stocks.
- Ensure system stock and physical stock accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores for stock transfers and adjustments.
- Compliance & Quality Ensure warehouse operations comply with pharmaceutical regulations and company SOPs.
- Maintain proper temperature and storage conditions for medicines.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Monitor compliance with batch tracking and documentation requirements.
- Team Management : Supervise warehouse assistants,
loaders, and support staff. Allocate daily work and monitor team productivity.
- Provide training and guidance on SOPs, safety, and inventory handling.
- Maintain discipline and positive work culture within the warehouse.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of GRN, invoices, dispatches, returns, and stock movements.
- Prepare daily operational and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding stock-related issues.
- Safety & Security Ensure protected handling and storage of medicines.
- Monitor warehouse security and prevent stock pilferage or damage. Ensure adherence to fire and safety procedures.
Preferred candidate profile
Required Qualification : Graduation
Experience : 1 - 3 years in Medicine or FMCG retail warehouse
