Role & responsibilities -

Responsible for analyzing, designing, and detailing protected, cost-effective reinforced concrete (RCC) and steel structures.
- Structural Modeling & Analysis: Create 3D analytical models using ETABS (specialized for high-rise residential and commercial buildings) and STAAD.Pro (ideal for industrial structures, pipe racks, bridges, and complex geometries).
- Design & Calculations: Compute member forces, bending moments, and shear stresses, and design structural elements (beams, columns, slabs, shear walls, and foundations).
- Drawing & Detailing Coordination: Generate and review Good For Construction (GFC) drawings and reinforcement details using complementary software like AutoCAD or RCDC.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with architects, project managers,



and site execution teams to resolve structural clashes and ensure design feasibility.
- Site Inspections: Conduct periodic site visits to inspect reinforcement placement and verify construction quality against design specifications.

Preferred candidate profile -

Mandatory Requirements & Skills
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on command over ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and drafting tools like AutoCAD (knowledge of SAFE or RCDC is an added advantage).
- Code Knowledge: Clear understanding of national and international design codes of practice.
