About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Video Editing Mentor to join our team in Calicut/Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of practical experience in video editing and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

The candidate will be responsible for training students in qualified video editing, guiding them through practical projects, and helping them develop industry-ready skills.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct practical and interactive video editing training sessions.
Mentor students and help them develop skilled editing skills.
Teach video editing using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Explain video editing concepts including cutting, transitions, audio editing, color correction, subtitles, effects, and storytelling.
Train students in creating YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, advertisements, promotional videos, and educational content.




Provide hands-on guidance through live projects and assignments.
Review students' work and provide constructive feedback.
Help students build professional portfolios and industry-ready projects.
Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, tools, and social media trends.
Support students with career guidance and practical industry knowledge.

Requirements
1–2 years of skilled experience in video editing.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and preferably After Effects / DaVinci Resolve.
Good understanding of motion graphics, color correction, audio editing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
Experience creating short-form and long-form video content.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping students learn.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical way.
A portfolio or sample work is required.
